A Day in the Life

A typical day for Robynn starts with organizing her inbox and setting priorities for the day. One of her main responsibilities is updating QuickBooks for at least two members each week. Her day often involves calls with members who either need assistance with QuickBooks or are considering onboarding with Audigy Bookkeeping Services.

Though her responsibilities on paper might center around bookkeeping tasks, her day-to-day role encompasses more than just managing financial records — she works closely with members to understand their needs and provide guidance tailored to their unique business needs and goals.

Supporting Audigy’s Members

Robynn’s work directly impacts Audigy’s members by providing support to their financial-management needs. Currently, she directly supports 10 members, keeping their QuickBooks current. This involves tasks like entering manufacturer invoices, syncing with their order-management system, updating credit card charges, reconciling bank accounts, and paying bills.

Beyond the regular bookkeeping, she’s responsible for onboarding new members, which involves setting up a standardized chart of accounts and, again, ensuring that each member’s QuickBooks are up to date. She also assists in syncing their order-management system with QuickBooks to streamline processes. These efforts ensure that each member’s financial records are organized, accurate, and easily accessible, helping them make informed business decisions.

She also provides consulting to members who handle their bookkeeping in-house. Many of these members reach out to her with monthly questions about their financial records, allowing her to assist in real-time and ensure accuracy. Her extensive knowledge and genuine interest in member success make her a reliable resource, and she often goes above and beyond, dedicating personal time, if necessary, to ensure her members’ needs are met.

Personal & Professional Growth

With three promotions over her 10 years at Audigy, she’s experienced firsthand how the company values growth and development. She was put on a career path early in her tenure, which helped her recognize her own potential and the importance of setting goals. Heather Brown, her manager when she first started at Audigy, was a significant influence on her journey. Away from bookkeeping and member calls, Robynn enjoys quilting — a creative outlet that’s not so different from her analytical work at Audigy. She’s always piecing together a new quilt top or using her long arm for intricate quilting designs. This passion gives her a feeling of balance, allowing her to unwind and do something hands-on and artistic. She also loves spending time with her family, watching her son play basketball and her daughter cheer at football games.

She’s also the matriarch of a prolific family — Robynn’s a proud grandmother to four young grandchildren! Her oldest stepdaughter has two children, including a newborn, and her youngest stepdaughter has twins. Balancing a thriving career with the joys of parenthood and grandparenthood brings a unique fullness to her life. Yes, she’s busy, but she wouldn’t have it any other way. Robynn appreciates the flexible schedule Audigy provides, which allows her to maintain this healthy work/life balance — whether that means starting her day a little late or leaving a little early to attend a family event.
