His day-to-day tasks involve far more than the typical social media role people might envision. In addition to crafting attention-grabbing organic and paid content for social media, he works with both internal teams and members to ensure that Audigy’s social media efforts are aligned with their overarching marketing goals. Jordan plays a vital part in discussions around marketing strategies, campaign performance, and member engagement.

By midmorning he’s already pivoting to working on content calendars for Audigy members, ensuring that their online messaging aligns with their goals. Later in the day, Jordan might shift gears to video editing for HearingLoss.com, a project that allows him to flex his creative muscles in a different medium.

Jordan says the most fun happens in simple day-to-day interactions at Audigy. Life Outside of Work

When he’s off the clock, Jordan’s life is his family. He’s a happy husband and father, and there’s no substitute for the time he spends with his partner and their 6-year-old. Whether it’s camping, gaming, traveling, or enjoying their regular “Smoovie Nights” (where they watch a movie and make smoothies), Jordan enjoys those simple moments that help him recharge. Reading before bed is another favorite family activity that’s quickly become a nightly ritual. They’re currently working their way through The Hobbit.

Jordan has a passion for storytelling and literature. Fun fact: He originally wanted to be a librarian! Many people might be surprised to learn that he initially pursued a career in library science, earning a bachelor’s degree in English creative writing and library science. Although his career ultimately took a different path, Jordan’s love for reading is something that lives on, and he hopes to pass it on to his child.

Jordan’s commitment to education and literacy shows itself in his volunteer work. He actively supports public and school libraries, and he has volunteered at the Multnomah County Library in Portland, Oregon. Now, he volunteers at his child’s school library, where he helps organize and build their collection of materials in English, German, and Chinese. It’s a cause that’s close to his heart, and one that allows him to give back to his community in a way that’s meaningful to him.
