Her Role at Audigy

Erica plays a pivotal role as the regional manager for the Central region at Audigy, overseeing both ENTs and health systems across 13 states. Her responsibilities span a wide range of duties, from making cold prospect calls to strategizing and building relationships with prospective members. A vital aspect of Erica’s work is diagnosing gaps within clinics and helping members see where Audigy’s Strategic Business Unit (SBU) can provide support. “It’s really about understanding where clinics need assistance and how Audigy can help fill those gaps,” Erica explains.

Her role, however, doesn’t stop with getting new members on board. Erica stays involved throughout the partnership, ensuring that Audigy is there every step of the way and that clinic members are fully supported. This hands-on approach has been key to her success and her ability to foster long-lasting relationships with members.

A Day in the Life

Erica’s day is never quite the same, as her role demands flexibility and a mix of different skills. “A typical day for me is a balance of making cold prospect calls, strategizing follow-ups on warm opportunities, participating in team meetings, and traveling for field visits,” she says. Each of these components allows Erica to stay on top of the needs of both prospective and current members.

Her mornings often begin with reviewing prospects and planning out the day’s calls. Throughout the day, she engages with team members, learning from their experiences and sharing insights that help the group grow collectively. In the afternoons, she focuses on field travel, meeting with clinics face-to-face and discussing how Audigy can provide tailored solutions for their challenges.

Supporting Audigy’s Members

Erica’s role goes beyond just providing solutions — it’s about forming relationships. “I’m often the first trusted advisor for our members, and it’s important for them to know that we’re a team,” she says. One thing that makes Erica ultra-relatable and useful to members is her background as a CEO of a nonprofit audiology clinic for six years. This clearly gives her unique insight into the operational and financial pressures clinics face, making her advice invaluable.

Whether it’s advising on how to improve clinic operations, identifying strategic business needs, or simply offering support, Erica is there every step of the way. She’s not just helping clinics find success in the short term, she’s ensuring they have the tools and strategies for long-term growth and sustainability. “I help members understand where Audigy can assist, and I stay connected to ensure we’re delivering on our promises,” Erica adds.

Personal & Professional Growth

Working at Audigy has given Erica the opportunity to grow, both personally and professionally. “Audigy has been incredibly supportive of my personal situation,” she says. As a mother of two children with ADHD and a wife to a husband who also travels frequently, Erica values the company’s understanding of her need for flexibility. “It’s been key to me achieving my professional goals, such as reaching 1,000 units per year.” Apparently, her persistence is paying off! “Erica is on pace for a record year,” her supervisor shares. This balance of professional ambition and personal understanding has been instrumental in Erica’s ongoing success.

Erica’s supervisor adds, “She sees an opportunity and won’t let anything stand in the way of achieving it.”

Life Outside of Work

Outside of her busy life at Audigy, Erica enjoys life’s simple pleasures. “I like walking the bridges in my city across the river, watching sports, and baking with my family,” she shares. Family time is important to her, and she loves spending time with her three cats. She’s also passionate about giving back to her community. Erica and her children volunteer weekly at their local Humane Society, a cause close to her heart.

Erica’s connection to hearing health runs deep. “I learned sign language before I learned to talk,” she says, noting that both her sister and brother-in-law are deaf. This personal connection to the Deaf community has only strengthened her commitment to helping people with hearing challenges through her work at Audigy. “It makes my family proud that my life’s work revolves around helping people with hearing challenges,” Erica says.

With dedication like Erica’s, it’s clear that Audigy’s future continues to look bright.
